The AKAPRODUCT range comprises audio desks to house most leading audio brands, off-line and on-line editing desks and voice over tables. AKA can supply a full technical furniture package including control room furniture, composing furniture, radio desks, editing and voice over desks.
The ProWave system has been developed for mixing, post, composing and mastering studios to house leading audio equipment from Digidesign, Solid State Logic, Merging, Sountracks Yamaha, Euphonix, Toft, Tascam, Fairlight and Edirol. The ability to add numerous configurations of worktops and racks gives this system a flexibility which enables the operator to design the workspace to their individual needs while working in a perfect ergonomic and acoustic position. In a similar vein, the ProCommand desk is an audio desk designed to house Digidesign's D-Command console.
The AKAPRODUCT range also includes three editing desk solutions: the ProEdit, ProLite and ProMedia. These have been designed to meet the requirements and budgets of various editing environments and can be used for Avid, Final Cut Pro and other platforms. The ProEdit desk integrates fully with the ProWave range to create larger working areas by adding additional worktops and racks for individual requirements.The ProLite desk is a slightly cheaper version of the ProEdit which does not integrate with the ProWave products but includes an optional 12U bottom rack. The ProMedia is a compact editing desk designed to create an editing studio in restricted spaces such as home studios.
AKA offers a complimentary design service working with a studio floor plan to fit the system into the space. The design team is always on hand to discuss individual requirements and can offer a hybrid solution combining AKAProduct with AKACustom to meet exact requirements.
Hybrid ProWave desks are an excellent solution for Grading desks and AKA has incorporated Pandora and Nucoda panels into the ProWave range, using this concept for educational institutions including Liverpool institute or Performing Arts, Royal College of Art, Newcastle Academy and the Royal College of Music. These educational workstations have been used for editing, mixing, composing, training and teaching areas.
AKA can provide centre sections for most audio desk manufactures and stocks centre sections for Pro Tools desks such as the Digidesign D-Command , D-Control and C|24 desks. Centre sections for the new Solid State Logic Matrix desk have just been introduced, to go with the existing AWS 900+ desk. AKA has also incorporated such brands as Yamaha, Euphonics , DiGiCo Soundtracs and the new Merging Technologies Ramses MSC.
The AKAPRODUCT range comes flat packed , making it easy to ship and assemble on site. All these aspects combine to provide an affordable furniture solution without compromising on design, style or quality.
